Abstract:
Objective: Requesting and hosting sport events as a tool for faster and more effective development is a part of cities and countries' development strategies. Hosting promoted sports events can affect economic, social, and urban development, such as domestic and foreign investment, tourism boom, job creation, business opportunities, development and promotion of sports, leading social change, urban revitalization, etc. According to the WHO risk assessment of group gatherings, the risk of hosting an event during the Corona pandemic (during the active phase of the pandemic) was considered "very high risk." The purpose of this study is to address the conditions of hosting sporting events during the outbreak of coronavirus.
Methodology: The present study is a type of secondary study. The Method is the review of best evidence. A search of Google Scholar identified the available resources, PubMed, Sid, Research Gate databases from 2019.2021.14 sources were investigated to interpret the content of text data and create codes and themes through content analysis.
Results: The research findings included three themes: education, health and medicine, and facilities.
Conclusion: The analysis results indicate that hosting major sports events is still important at the time of the coronavirus outbreak, but that hosting should follow a careful strategy to reduce the risk of transmitting the virus. All passengers must be required to wear personal protective equipment, observe standard hygiene points and social distance. All airport crew and staff will be quarantined and tested regularly for two weeks before flights (such as bus drivers). Provide continuing education in the field of health. Strict disinfection measures, observe the social distance, and wear personal protective equipment should be applied. Thermal cameras located throughout the area constantly monitor the temperature of the people. Use heat-sensitive wristbands to detect the allowable body temperature. Athletes should generally stay away from people in their gym and workout area next to each of their hotel rooms if possible. The stadium should be disinfected before, during, and after the games. Everyone in the area should be tested twice a week, including 24 hours before the event.
