The education sector and universities are also among the sectors that are no exception to this rule and have always been affected by Covid-19 pandemic. Objective: The aim of this study was to study the effect of knowledge sharing on virtual learning intention of sport science students. Method: This study was a descriptive-correlative and practical one. To collect the research data, a researcher-developed questionnaire was used. A valid and reliable (Choronbach’s alpha = 0.84) questionnaire included 15 items, were distributed to collect the required data. The research population involved all sport science students in Iran. According to a pilot study a sample of 225 students was studied through convenience sampling. Structural equations modeling (SEM) was conducted to measure the validity and fitness of the research model. AMOS18 and SPSS18 were used for data analysis. Results and conclusions: Based on the research findings, knowledge sharing and its dimensions (explicit and tacit knowledge sharing) had a positive and significant effect on virtual learning intention of sport science students. According to the research findings, encouraging knowledge sharing process can play a critical role in improving virtual learning intention of sport science students in sports science educational system. The results of this study can carry valuable messages for policy makers, teachers, and administrators of educational institutions and universities to achieve a more complete understanding of the effectiveness of virtual learning.
