Abstract |
Background: The success of today's organizations depends on the creativity of the employees and their familiarity with this important category. Creative employees can be efficient and effective and perform organizational tasks and affairs better, so it is necessary for managers to be aware of the process of creativity management in organizations. Knowledge management is the process of collecting, storing, sharing and effectively managing the knowledge and experience of employees to increase the overall knowledge of the workforce. The main purpose of this concept is to improve the efficiency, productivity and maintenance of important information in the organization. Aim: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between knowledge management and the Employee creativity of Youth and Sports General Directorate of South Khorasan Province. Methodology: The method of the study was descriptive-correlation. The population included all employees of Youth and Sports General Directorate of South Khorasan Province (N=120). All of them were selected as subjects. Data collection tools were demographic information form, Researcher-made knowledge management questionnaire and creativity questionnaire (Rendsip, 1979). To analyse the data, descriptive statistics (mean, percentage, etc.) and inferential statistics (Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Pearson correlation coefficient) were used. Results: The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between knowledge management and employee creativity (sig <0.05). Conclusion: Theoretically, the results can be used to complete the theoretical foundations of this field. In practice, relevant managers can use the results of this study to improve creativity of employees. According to the results, it is suggested that organizations improve their knowledge management system and use new solutions to manage knowledge in the organization.
