Abstract |
Background: Based on studies in the field of physical activity of students, it has been determined that in most countries their level of physical activity is not at the desired level and a high percentage do not achieve the standard amount of moderate to severe physical activity. To this end, planning for the development of students' physical activity has always been the focus of researchers. Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the feasibility of family education curriculum in increasing physical activity and health of students. Methodology: The statistical population of the study included 220 specialists in physical education and sports sciences who were selected by stratified-random sampling. The data collection tool was a closed questionnaire that has two parts. The first part was related to demographic information and the second part was the questionnaire on the feasibility of the family education curriculum with 12 items and 60 questions, which was evaluated as a 5-point Likert scale. Also, descriptive statistics (frequency, mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (one-sample t-test and Pearson correlation) were used to analyze the collected data. It should be noted that all statistical steps were analyzed using SPSS24 software. Results: The results showed that the level of significance of the feasibility of the family education curriculum is less than 0.05, so it can be claimed that the experts of the feasibility of the family education curriculum in increasing the physical activity and health of students. Are evaluated at the desired level. Conclusion: There was a positive and significant correlation between the feasibility and the factors of the family education curriculum from the experts' point of view, so the desirability of the family education curriculum in increasing the physical activity and health of students was confirmed. Therefore, it is suggested that joint meetings be held between family education curriculum designers and physical education experts in the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Sports and Youth, Ministry of Science, experts of the Educational Research and Planning Organization of the Ministry of Education to explain the program |
