Abstract |
The aim of this study was to compare personality traits among entrepreneurs in sports and industry. By studying the personality and demographic characteristics of entrepreneurs in the field of sports and industry, we can find out what characteristics are strong in them and have led to their entrepreneurship and success. Also, by comparing these characteristics between the two groups, we can find out which characteristics are stronger or weaker in each group, and according to their performance, we can understand its positive and negative points. In this study, by comparing the personality traits of entrepreneurs in the field of sports and industry, we want to conclude whether these traits are different in entrepreneurs or not? The descriptive method is comparative and applied. This study uses a variety of comparative calculations to compare the variables of entrepreneurs in the field of sports and industry. The statistical population of this study includes all entrepreneurs in the field of sports and industry, based on which all entrepreneurs include 198 people. In order to determine the statistical sample size, considering that the study population is 198 people. Using Morgan's sample size estimation table, the research sample consisted of 127 people randomly selected. The research tool is a questionnaire of five major factors of Costa and McCray personality traits, which are studied under the headings of psychoticism or N, extroversion or E, openness or O, agreeing or A, being conscientious or C. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire have been confirmed. In order to analyze the data from inferential statistics, Kolomogorov-Smirnov test was used to test the normality of the hypotheses and T test in independent groups was used to test the hypotheses in SPSS software. The results of this study showed that: There is a significant difference between personality traits of extroversion, agreeing, psychoticism and being conscientious among entrepreneurs in sports and industry. But there is no significant difference between the openness (flexibility) of entrepreneurs in sports and industry. |
