Abstract |
The aim of this study was to identify and prioritize the barriers affecting women's professional sports in Hormozgan province during the outbreak of Covid-19 virus. The research is applied in terms of purpose and its method is descriptive-analytical. Documentary studies and library and field studies have been used to collect the required information and data. The data collection tool is an interview and a questionnaire. First, by reviewing the literature and interviewing 20 sports experts in Hormozgan province, they collected information in a theoretical saturation method and after analysis using grounded theory analysis, obstacles affecting professional sports. Women in Hormozgan province were identified during the outbreak of Covid-19 virus and then a questionnaire was designed based on the information obtained from Grand Theoretical Analysis and after confirming its validity and reliability, it was distributed and collected among the statistical sample (Hormozgan athletes). The data were analyzed using the Friedman test to prioritize the identified barriers. The results of the study showed that the barriers affecting women's professional sports in Hormozgan province during the outbreak of Covid-19 virus are in order of priority: health barriers (non-compliance with health principles and protocols, fear of attending sports centers, lack of supervision Sports venues, lack of cooling system, lack of corona vaccine for athletes, diseases with excessive use of masks, various infectious diseases, mental disorders, physical problems) Economic barriers (lack of government funding, lack of company support Private inefficiencies, financial inability of sports teams, high cost of private sports centers, bankruptcy of sports centers (cultural barriers), lack of culture for women's outdoor sports, lack of community support for sports culture in public places, gender discrimination, attitudes and beliefs Community and family stereotypes of women's sports, hijab) Social barriers (lack of government support to create a suitable open space, lack of sports facilities, lack of facilities and cooling system, lack of people specialized in sports, discouragement of athletes with the closure of clubs). |
