Abstract |
Aim: The aim of this study was to study of the effect of 6 weeks of 11 plus training on balance, strength and endurance lower extremity of football players in Tabriz. Method and Materials: In this quasi-experimental study, 20 football players in Tabriz with an age range of 14 to 20 years were randomly divided into 2 homogeneous groups of 10 with the titles of experimental group and control group. One week before the start of the training program season (pre-test phase), static and dynamic balance, strength and endurance of knee flexors and extensor, and plantar flexors and ankle dorsiflexors were evaluated in both groups. The experimental group performed 11-plus exercises for 8 weeks and the control group participated in their daily exercises. At the end of the training program (post-test phase), static and dynamic balance, strength and endurance of knee flexors and extensor, plantar flexors and ankle dorsiflexors were performed according to the pre-test phase. Data were analyzed using independent and dependent t-test at a significance level of less than 5% using SPSS software version 22. Findings: The results of statistical tests showed that in post-test in static and dynamic balance, strength of knee and ankle muscles and endurance of knee muscles there is a significant difference between the experimental and control groups. (p≥0.05). Conclusion: FIFA 11 Plus training, which is basically an injury prevention program but can be used as a program to improve and increase static and dynamic balance, endurance and strength of lower limb muscle of footballers players. |
