Abstract:
It is been said that science should be at the service of education and this is only a small step forward because nature wants men and women to have the right physical strength. Like men, most women are more inclined to use bicycles when the environment is suitable; also they want to build a standard infrastructure so that they can improve their skills. Seven main categories in the process of physical activity of young Iranian women have been identified in examining the benefits of exercise for women, which are personal motivations; Promotional measures; Challenges; Sports venues and facilities; the coach; safety and security; Benefits of Exercise, in which researchers will focus on these challenges. Cycling is the physical activity that is explored in this study. Cycling means using bicycles to transportation, recreation, exercise or sports. (Wikipedia). Bicycles have several advantages over motor vehicles, including regular physical exercise. Some researchers have considered the problems of cycling in Iran as the lack of a proper culture and others as the lack of physical and urban infrastructure and some researchers even has been identified the benefits of cycling along with the disadvantages. Hence this study aims to identify obstacles to women cycling from the perspective sports experts. The research paradigm is interpretive and the researcher's approach in this research is qualitative, which uses thematic analysis. In this regard, using purposive sampling method, 16 sports experts were interviewed and the collected data were analysed through MAXDA_2020 software. The results indicated the existence of 6 main categories including "physical, security, organizational, software, laws and regulations, socio-cultural. Therefore, to facilitate the obstacles, it is recommended to build special parks for women cycling or to design riding bicycles to cover their body shape (elegance of female limbs).
