Abstract:
One of the most important goals of architectural design is to produce a context to meet human needs. Sports spaces and places have an essential role in improving and increasing the quality of life of citizens. In contemporary life, sports and sports activities have a special importance and role, so the observance of design principles in the architecture and construction of these places is considered important, and it is possible to use the results to address many of the shortcomings. Compensates for space. The purpose of this study is to review and evaluate the principles of architecture and design of standard squash courts in Iran. The research method in the present study includes collecting information and plans of courts, preparing research tools, classifying data and reviewing plans and courts designing one by one. The statistical population of the study is standard squash courts throughout Iran. In this research, the points of interest in the field of design of squash courts have been identified, which have been assessed by analyzing the plans and examining the design of the interior and exterior spaces of the courts. The results show that Milad courts in Tehran has a higher design standard than Tehran courts and other provinces courts, various services, colors, appropriate lighting, harmony, form, access, interior design and The use of appropriate materials is one of the important factors that is effective in designing squash courts and makes them more attractive. According to the obtained results, it can be suggested that all the authorities start the court design work according to the design principles mentioned and in consultation with the architect and according to the specific licensing conditions.this category requires more than anything the efforts of investors, officials and trustees of squash clubs.
