Abstract
Purpose: The main purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of organizational intelligence on the effectiveness of sports departments and staff.
Methodology: This research is applied in terms of purpose and in terms of research strategy, it is a survey that was used to collect information from Karl Albrecht Organizational Intelligence Questionnaire and Organizational Effectiveness Questionnaire based on Parsons Social Essential Function Model (AGIL), Information Technology. The statistical population includes all employees of sports and youth departments of Karaj province, 545 people, 200 of whom were calculated as a statistical sample using available sampling. Data analysis of this study was analyzed using spss24 statistical software with the help of a set of descriptive and inferential statistics. The validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by 30 sports management specialists and their reliability was 0.878 and 0.901, respectively.
Result:The result of this study Showed that the intelligence of the employees of the administration and sports delegations of Karaj province is at a relatively desirable level and their organizational effectiveness is at a desirable level; Organizational intelligence is a good predictor variable for organizational effectiveness and explains 0.741% of variance changes in criterion variables.
Conclusion: Sports federations, which act as capable arms of sports in any country, should define effective processes, develop organizational intelligence, train and apply it at different levels of the organization, and provide the basis for the transfer and sharing of organizational knowledge created by employees. Finally, these factors promote the creation and absorption of knowledge, knowledge organization, knowledge storage, dissemination and application of knowledge in federations. Considering the significant effect of organizational intelligence on the effectiveness of sports departments and delegations, it is recommended that officials take action to provide the necessary and appropriate conditions for creating organizational intelligence in departments.
