| Today, sport as a basic necessity and need is significantly considered by everyone. Because fans are the main assets of sports, so they have an undeniable role in the continuation of sports life. They are so important that the main assets of any club and professional athlete They are considered and it is the fans who identify clubs, leagues and athletes. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of sports motivation on the behavior of fans in karate athletes in Alborz province. This research is descriptive and correlational in terms of research method and method, based on structural equation modeling and applied in terms of purpose and cross-sectional in terms of time horizon. The statistical population of this study includes all karate athletes in Alborz province, the number of which is unknown due to different sports styles in karate. Using Cochran's formula, 237 people were selected as a statistical sample by one-step random cluster sampling method. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. Data analysis using construct validity through heuristic factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, one-sample t-test, correlation coefficient and structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with the help of SPSS and PLS Smart, Excel and Lisrel software Done. Findings show that sports motivation has a positive and significant effect on the behavior of fans in karate athletes in Alborz province. Also, the research findings show that there is a significant relationship between the components of sports motivation and fan behavior. The highest correlation or the relationship between fans 'behavior with the emotional component (0.596) and the lowest relationship between fans' behavior and the component of positive stress (0.334) is |
