Abstract |
Participating in organized sports offers young athletes many opportunities for social interaction with other peers, which can lead to the development of moral norms and values. Therefore, a lot of effort must be made to improve the quality of human resources. In this regard, the aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between moral orientation and gender role and quality of life of Iranian futsal girls. The statistical population of this study consisted of 400 players in the Futsal League of the Premier League and the First Division of Iran. Using Morgan table, the sample size was estimated to be 196 people who were selected by simple random sampling. The research method was descriptive and correlational which was performed in the field. In order to collect data, questionnaires of ethical orientation in sports Miltiadis (2010), Bam gender role (1947) and quality of life made by the World Health Organization (1998) were used. The reliability of the questionnaires was determined using Cronbach's alpha test of 0.84, 0.81 and 0.87, respectively. In order to analyze the data, descriptive indices and one-sample t-test and regression analysis in SPSS software were used. The results showed that the moral orientation and components of conscientious ethics and teleological ethics have the ability to predict the gender role and quality of life of girls futsal players. The results showed that the average scores of female futsal players in the variables of moral orientation, quality of life and gender role are in a favorable condition. Finally, it is concluded that by increasing the level of ethics and education and development of this important indicator in sports can have a positive and significant impact on improving the quality of life and gender role of girls futsal players to improve their performance in sports. |
