Abstract |
The importance of social networks is becoming more and more apparent as a key element in sports entrepreneurship activities, they provide a basis for social cohesion and facilitate the exchange of resources and information.For this purpose, social networks with three dimensions: the structure and content of social relations and information transfer methods as independent variables and opportunity recognition variable as a dependent variable have been studied. With the outbreak of Corona and the Covid 19 epidemic, many entrepreneurial businesses in the sports industry are facing a serious crisis and even closure. The present study seeks to examine the challenges facing sports entrepreneurship in the current crisis and to identify the role of social networks in identifying sports entrepreneurship opportunities in the Corona era. In the first stage, the challenges facing entrepreneurship in the Corona era and the effects of social networks in identifying entrepreneurial opportunities were extracted in the form of a questionnaire. Then, in the second phase, these challenges and effects are provided to the Delphi panel consisting of 16 professors and elites of sports management and sports entrepreneurs. Finally, 10 entrepreneurial challenges were identified. Also, 74 effects of social networks in identifying sports entrepreneurship opportunities during the corona have been identified and presented. The effects ahead could save sports entrepreneurship from danger and make these firms resilient to future crises.The results show that entrepreneurs' social networks have a positive relationship with identifying opportunities, and among these dimensions of social networks, the content of social relations has the greatest impact on identifying entrepreneurial opportunities. |
