Abstract:
Background:
The utilization of smart and digital equipment in the fitness industry is just an undeniable reality.
Considering such breakthrough, we have witnessed the advent of smart workout systems, smart gyms, and similar technologies in the world in the past recent years. Instances include interactive walls and floors, wearable gadgets etc.

Purpose:
The purpose of this design is to develop a comprehensive smart workout system capable of storing and analyzing the exercise movements and preventing the athlete from getting tired with various attractive games.
Unlike the existing systems which use a static design and usually have a definite number of sensors and displays, this system is a dynamic one.
The system should allow for the installation of new software, not have limitations to the design of exercises, and enable the trainers to add unlimited exercises at will.

Methodology
This article details a workout system based on augmented reality technology, the internet of things(IOT), and artificial intelligence. The system has been designed, manufactured and come into operation in a fully homegrown process. It can change at least 2*2 square meters of space to a complete, attractive and smart area suitable for exercise and workout. The system has three groups of users: A) professional athletes doing expert exercises in their field, B) ordinary athletes doing exercises to stay healthy and keep fit, and working out at home, C) entertainment and training besides workout.
The system turns a simple wall into an exercise area with artificial intelligence and augmented reality technologies and can sense a ball hitting or the hands and other objects touching the wall. Moreover, the interactive towers would engage with the athlete’s lower body. The interactive towers are portable, so that they can be placed at any part of the workout area.
The system detects every single athlete with an RFID bracelet and stores all data related to athlete’s exercises in its database. After each workout session, the athlete can observe the results of progress and performance and compare them with the previous sessions.
