Content analysis of championship sports performance studies

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to review the studies conducted in the field of management and performance evaluation of championship sports with a content analysis approach from 2012 to 2021 in Iran.
The research method is based on strategy, descriptive, in terms of implementation path, content analysis and in terms of data collection, documentary. The statistical population of the study was 35 articles published in the field of management and performance evaluation of championship sports that were published in prestigious Iranian journals. The research sample was considered as a whole and equal to the statistical population. The tools used in the study included a checklist; its face and content validity was confirmed by 6 sports performance management experts.
Based on research findings; 35 scientific research articles on management and performance evaluation of championship sports were published in prestigious Iranian journals. In terms of the year of publication, most articles were published in 1394 and 1398 (14 articles). In terms of the level of target matches; There were non-Olympic (22) and Olympic (13) cases. Also, in terms of analytical level, most articles were reviewed at the macro level (13) and intermediate level (12).
The results showed that the most important factors affecting the success of elite sports used by researchers include: GDP, population, wealth, income, unemployment and inflation, climate, geography and living environment, financial support, talent identification, support and Upgrade coaches, training facilities and equipment, athletes and motivation and psychological factors. As a result, for the success of elite sports, respectively, the most important factors at the macro level of GDP, wealth, population, inflation and unemployment, climate and culture; The most important factors at the intermediate level are financial support, talent identification, sports facilities and equipment, the use of efficient coaches and their support in order to improve the quality of education and at the micro level the most important factor is the athlete himself. Therefore, the attention of governments and relevant organizations to these factors will certainly be effective in achieving successful performance at the level of championship sports and elite sports in the national and international sectors.
