Methodology: In this research, we have used the comments of 15 experts as a statistical sample by using snowball method. Hence, in this research, first of all, it has been begun to identify the standards for selecting coaches of basic basketball teams by using library studies and interview with the experts. After identifying the standards of selecting coaches of basic basketball teams by using DEMATEL Method, the internal relationships has been specified and the experts' questionnaire has been determined in order to set the degree of importance of each standard using ANP.
Findings: The results of combinatorial approach of ANP and DEMATEL, of the effective factors express that among the main effective factors, respectively, technical and legal qualification with a weight of 0.012, psychological and communication skills with a weight of 0.075 and a tendency to grow and transcendence with a weight of 0.046 have had a high importance. Among the sub-criteria, respectively, having coaching card with a weight of 0.052, dominating the psychological concepts of growth with a weight of 0.034, have a high important too.
Discussion and Conclusion: Ultimately, it has been determined that all specified standards are effective in selecting coaches of basic basketball teams and prioritizing standards does not mean that the standard at the bottom of the table are insignificant or negligible. it has been tried in this research to provide a suitable classification of the standards for selecting coaches of basic basketball teams and the degree of their importance has been determined. Undoubtedly, paying attention to the results of this research can be important for the individuals and the groups involving in selecting coaches.
