Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of sports motivation on selected and non-elected women in the Volleyball Championship in Jiroft. The present study was descriptive and the scientific research method after occurrence and was applied in terms of practical and developmental purpose. The data gathering tool was a standardized sports incentive questionnaire whose validity was confirmed by Shafizadeh (2006) and its reliability was estimated and approved by Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.83. The statistical population consisted of all women in Jiroft, who participated in the team's exercises for deployment. The number of these people was 30 and, given the limited community of all, they were selected in a sample sample. Of these, 12 people were members of the team and formed the selected sample, and 18 remaining were also in the non-selected sample. The collected data were analyzed using independent t-test and K-S test was used to investigate the data distribution. In the women's sports culture, women's behavior emphasizes less emphasis on cooperation and group behaviors, and perhaps athletes do not take sports competition in these exercises, and more than the recreational aspect, and the desire for victory is important. There is no motivation that the elected women have a significant difference in terms of competition, desire for victory, targeting compared to non-selected women.
