Abstract |
Today, the importance of paying attention to human resources for the growth and development of relief organizations such as the Red Crescent, emergency services and fire departments has been as a key priority in the decisions and activities of the managers of these organizations. Therefore, the present study aimed to investigate the effect of participation in Hogam sport on the quality of life, work and job performance of relief forces such as Red Crescent firefighters and paramedics with the mediating role of professional ethics. The present study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlational in terms of method and survey in terms of data collection. The statistical population of the study consisted of all relief forces such as firefighters and rescuers of the Red Crescent and the country's emergency services (with an unknown volume) who participate in relief sports such as Hogam. The research sample included 168 members of the above-mentioned forces who participated in events related to the sport of Hogam in 1998 in Mazandaran province. The sampling method was non-random and available; in this way, all the people participating in the mentioned event have been included in the research. Also in the present study, Walton (1973) quality of work life questionnaire, Patterson (1970) job performance questionnaire, sports participation questionnaire based on Taji et al. (2010) and Kadozir standard professional ethics questionnaire (2002) were used. The results showed that participation in Hogam exercise has a significant effect on job performance and quality of work life of relief workers with the mediating role of professional ethics; Therefore, it can be said that addressing this sport, which has its own nature compared to other sports, can have a significant impact on the quality of life, work and job performance of employees and this effect will be doubled by observing professional ethics. Therefore, the managers of these organizations can take steps to implicitly and explicitly institutionalize professional ethics by addressing employees 'ethical complaints and implementing employee ethics strengthening programs to improve the quality of employees' working lives. |
