Abstract:
Review :
Background: All researchers confirm the emphasis on the effect of diet and exercise on health, and improvement. Proper and planned nutrition strategy and design of a scientific exercise program support the health and recovery of any disease.
Aims: The aim of this study was to determine the role of health principles, healthy eating plan and regular exercise program during the outbreak of Covid-19 in terms of the incidence of professional athletes in the country.
Methods: The statistical population consisted of 150 professional athletes in various sports. The mean age of athletes was SD = 28.87 6. 6.3. In this study, 45 questions were designed through a questionnaire and the data were analyzed using SPSS software in two descriptive and inferential sections (Kolmogorov-Smirnov test). (Sig = <0.5)
Results: 68.2% of athletes were male. According to the answers, 89.3% followed all health principles and 53% did not have coronary heart disease. The results showed that 63.8% of athletes had a regular exercise program and a healthy diet. They did not have coronary heart disease. The athletes' diets consisted of major food groups including carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. The types of activities of these athletes in indoor and outdoor environments as well as in terms of participation in group and individual sports have been evaluated according to the prevalence of the disease. In the study of nutritional patterns of all aspects of energy production In terms of weight loss, weight gain, muscle mass gain and the amount of energy required for each activity through the consumption of various foods were examined and also about the type of nutrition was not mandatory in consumption, but the basis of work based on consumption and use of healthy patterns and healthy foods. have been.
Conclusion: According to the results, 89.3% of athletes did not suffer from coronary heart disease by observing hygienic principles, health-oriented diet and regular exercise program, and remained immune to this disease during this period.
