Abstract:
Background: The role of internal communication in the formation of emotional culture is widely recognized by researchers and specialists in management communication and public relations. Such a process helps employees internalize organizational characteristics, values, and practices as part of their personal identity, which can enhance organizational identity.
Objective: This study was conducted with the aim of creating an organizational identity based on internal communication and emotional culture in the Department of Sports and Youth in the west of the country.
Methodology: The method of this research is correlational studies. The statistical population included all employees of the Department of Sports and Atmosphere in the west of the country (4900 people). Morgan table (357 people) was used to determine the sample size. Research questionnaires are taken from the research of Yu et al. (2020). Formal and content validity was confirmed using the opinions of 8 professors of sports management. The validity of the construct was confirmed by confirmatory factor analysis and the reliability of the variables was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha test. In this study, SPSS and LISREL software were used to analyze the data to present the model.
Results: According to the findings of the table above, internal communication is 0.27 effective on organizational identity and emotional culture is 0.61 effective on organizational identity. Also, the coefficient of significance shows that the indicators are more than 1.96 and it can be concluded that both variables have a positive and significant effect on organizational identity.
Conclusion: Based on the effects of emotional culture, suggestions can be made to listen to the suggestions of employees. Use trust-building policies and try to label people. Based on the effects of internal communication, it is suggested that by facilitating planning, the policies and programs of the organization be better prepared and implemented and using the opinions of colleagues to help make the desired decision. Also, having good communication skills of managers is one of the effective suggestions.
