Abstract:
Background and Aim: Oxidative-nitrosative stress plays an important role in diabetes and its complications. According to research, most people with prediabetes eventually develop type 2 diabetes. Therefore, the present study aims to evaluate the effect of aerobic exercise and coffee. Green on oxidative-nitrosative stress markers in skeletal muscle tissue of male C57BL / 6 mice. Materials and Methods: Thirty-five samples were randomly divided into two groups of high-fat diet for induction of pre-diabetes and normal diet. Green (n = 7) were divided. The training protocol was performed incrementally over 10 weeks of 3 sessions (45 minutes each session) at a speed of 23 m / min on the turntable. Green coffee at a dose of 220 mg / kg body weight was given to green coffee groups three times a week by gavage. Twenty-four hours after the last training session and consumption of green coffee, quadriceps skeletal muscle biopsies were performed and after weighing, transferred to the laboratory to measure oxidative stress markers (superoxide dismutase and glutathione) and nitrous stress (nitric oxide, total oxidative capacity). Took. One-way ANOVA test was used to evaluate the effect of exercise and coffee on dependent variables. Significance level was considered p <0.05. Results: The results showed that aerobic exercise, green coffee and their simultaneous effect on glutathione, nitric oxide and total oxidative capacity, had a significant effect. Conclusion: According to the findings of the present study, At a significant level of P <0.05, aerobic exercise seems to be associated with increased antioxidant activity and green coffee can be effective in reducing blood sugar as well as modulating metabolic pathways in strengthening antioxidant systems.
