Abstract:
Objective: The present study investigated the effect of endurance training, green coffee supplement, chlorogenic acid supplementation on glutathione, glutathione peroxidase and malondialdehyde in skeletal muscle tissue of male C57BL / 6 mice. Methodology: After induction of prediabetes in male C57BL6 mice (N = 42), they were randomly divided into two groups of high-fat diet for induction of pre-diabetes and normal diet. They were divided into groups of green coffee, endurance training, endurance training and green coffee, chlorogenic acid, chlorogenic acid and endurance training (n = 7). The training protocol was increasingly performed over 10 weeks of 3 sessions, each session lasting 45 minutes at a speed of 23 m / min on the turntable. Green coffee at a dose of 220 mg / kg body weight three times a week Chlorogenic acid 110 mg / kg body weight four times a week was given to the groups by gavage. 24 hours after the last training session, consumption of green coffee and chlorogenic acid, quadriceps skeletal muscle biopsy was performed and after weight lifting, it was transferred to the laboratory to measure glutathione, glutathione peroxidase and malondialdehyde. One-way ANOVA test was used to evaluate the effect of exercise, coffee and chlorogenic acid and their simultaneous effect on dependent variables. Results: The results showed that endurance training, green coffee, chlorogenic and their simultaneous effect on glutathione, glutathione peroxidase and malondialdehyde, had a significant effect (p <0.05). Conclusion: According to the findings of the present study, at a significant level of P <0.05, endurance training, green coffee and chlorogenic acid increase antioxidant activities and can reduce blood sugar and modulate metabolic pathways. Be effective in strengthening antioxidant systems.
