Analysis of factors affecting the organizational entrepreneurship of employees of the general department of sports and youth in Hamadan province

Abstract:
Organizational entrepreneurship is a process that leads to product and process innovation through the induction of entrepreneurial culture in an organization. Successful organizations today are organizations that have creative and entrepreneurial managers and employees. In order to achieve this, entrepreneurial activities should be promoted in organizations to form an entrepreneurial spirit in employees and ultimately create an entrepreneurial environment in the organization. The purpose of present study was to determine the effect of servant leadership, organizational structure and organizational learning on organizational entrepreneurship of employees of the general department of sports and youth in Hamadan province. The research was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlational in nature using structural equation modeling (SEM). The statistical population of the study consisted of all employees of the general department of sports and youth in Hamadan province (N= 175). The statistical sample size was considered to be 121 people using Cochran's formula (n= 121) who were selected using convenience sampling method. To collect data, Estherhouse (2001) Organizational Learning Scale, Margaret Hill Organizational Entrepreneurship (2003), Gholipour Servant Leadership (2009), and Robbins (1987) Organizational Structure Scale were used, that formal validity was examined by experts and their reliability was examined by Cronbach's alpha. SPSS and PLS software were used to analyze the data. The results of path analysis showed that servant leadership had an effect on organizational entrepreneurship by 0.53. Also, organizational structure and organizational learning had an effect on organizational entrepreneurship of 0.36 and 0.58, respectively. According to the results (Gof = 0.497), it was found that the conceptual model of the research has a good fit. The overall result of the research showed that the present model can be used as a criterion for managers of the General Department of Sports and Youth of Hamadan Province so that they can better influence the organizational entrepreneurship of their employees.
