Abstract:
Introduction: On December 31, 2019, an epidemic of a new corona virus was reported in Wuhan, China, and Iran officially reported being infected with the virus from the beginning of March 1998. It seems that the lifestyle of the community can be related to the incidence of coronary heart disease. Little research has been done in this area, which confirms that with the advent of the Corona virus as an emerging and completely unknown and complex disease, human beings can no longer continue their former way of life. This study was conducted to determine whether there is a difference in lifestyle subscales between people with coronary heart disease and those without the disease.
Research method: Applied research is present, which has been done in a descriptive and field-based manner. The statistical population of the study included the people of Qazvin, where about 431 people randomly answered the research tool, the Walker-Improved Standard Lifestyle Questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, and independent t-test.
Results: The results showed that there was no significant difference between the overall lifestyle scores of the two groups of people with and without coronary artery disease, but among the 6 subscales of lifestyle, in the two subscales of exercise and stress management, there was a difference between the two groups.
Discussion and Conclusion: This finding can indicate drastic changes in people's lifestyles during quarantines and consecutive waves of disease in the country, and according to previous research, it can be stated that a healthy and active lifestyle, exercise and physical activity may prevent Slowing down the spread of this disease is effective and it is recommended that more research be done in this field to clarify its nature.
