Abstract:
Background & Goals: By spreading Covid-19 virus worldwide, concerns over health-related behaviors have rapidly increased. The ultimate purpose of this study is to model the severity of Covid 19 disease based on varied social components of health and the amount of sports activities people do in their lives.
Methodology: The methodology of the present study is based on a combined method (a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods). In the first stage of the research, a qualitative research method (based on the Grounded Theory Approach) was used and then the initial conceptual model of the research was formed. In the quantitative research method, the researcher believes that by assessing the dimensions obtained from the Delfi method (based on pundits and experts polling opinion) and according to the entery of these data in the hierarchical analysis plus the expert choice software, the most important dimensions and categories influencing the severity of Covid-19 disease could be achieved.
Results: By collecting those questionnaires, the answers were converted from absolute data to fuzzy data, then by using fuzzy AHP method and by considering miscellaneous levels of significance, different criteria were prioritized and ranked.
Discussion & Conclusion: Ultimately, the results of this study showed that the categories of facilitating conditions (level of sport activities, life habits, personality traits, challenges of communicating and educational services) with 0.768 percent, the category of possible consequences (quality of life) With 0.704 percent and the categories of background conditions (social support and socio-economic status) with 0.633 percent are the most significant factors in ranking and categorizing the effects of the severity of Covid-19 on the lives of human beings throughout the world. Consequently, nations’ medical and sport policy makers could use the model designed in their future plannings to prevent viral diseases such as Covid-19.
